All are welcome to join in the many activities of the New Brunswick Oratory; formal membership in the Oratory is not required for participation.

Monthly Saturday Mass
On the second Saturday of each month, join us for Eucharist at St. Peter the Apostle Church. Mass begins at 9:00 AM. Enjoy some time of fellowship after Mass at the Oratorian residence (St. Peter’s Rectory).

Sunday Holy Hour Series
Join us for our monthly Eucharistic Holy Hour on the third Sunday of each month, with the exception of December, when we meet for Advent Lessons and Carols, and June when we meet on the fourth Sunday to avoid a conflict with Fathers’ Day. Each Holy Hour begins at 3:00 PM in St. Peter the Apostle Church. This hour of prayer consists of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, readings, hymns, and silent meditation, and concludes with Benediction. From October to May, the Holy Hour is then followed by a talk downstairs in the Parish Hall. More information

Oratorian Weekend Retreat
Our annual weekend retreat consists of conferences given by the members of the Congregation, opportunities for celebration of the Eucharist as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and plenty of quiet time. Our next retreat will be held on the weekend of October 26-28, 2012, at St. Francis Renewal Center in Bethlehem, PA. More information will be available in summer 2012.

Eucharistic Adoration
You are welcome to join us for adoration on Mondays in the Catholic Center Chapel (at the Catholic Center at Rutgers, 84 Somerset Street, next to St. Peter’s Church). Adoration begins following at 7 PM and concludes at 10 PM. Please note that adoration is held only when Rutgers University is in session. Please call 732-545-6663 to verify the adoration schedule.

Advent Lessons and Carols
Please join us for our traditional Advent celebration of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 3:00 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Church in New Brunswick. Through the music and Scriptures of the season we celebrate the coming among us of the Word made flesh. Afterwards we will share in light refreshments downstairs in the Parish Hall. More information

Feast of St. Philip Neri
Each May 26, we gather at 7:00 PM for Eucharist in observance of the Solemnity of our Holy Father St. Philip Neri. A time for fellowship follows the Mass. In 2012, St. Philip’s Day falls on a Saturday, so we will hold our evening celebration on Friday, May 25.

Oratory Golf Outing
The 14th Annual Oratory Golf Outing will be held in September 2012. The Golf Outing benefits the Seminary Education Fund, through which we provide for the formation and education of our members. More information will be available in summer 2012.

Theater Night Fundraiser
The 3rd Annual Oratory Theater Night fundraiser took place on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick for their production of Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon.” The Theater Night benefits the life and ministry of the New Brunswick Oratory.
