Monthly Saturday Mass
On the second Saturday of each month, join us for Eucharist at St. Peter the Apostle Church. Mass begins at 9:00 AM. Enjoy some time of fellowship after Mass at the Oratorian residence (St. Peter’s Rectory).

Sunday Holy Hour Series
Join us for our monthly Eucharistic Holy Hour on the third Sunday of each month, with the exception of December, when we meet for Advent Lessons and Carols, and June when we meet on the fourth Sunday to avoid a conflict with Fathers’ Day. Each Holy Hour begins at 3:00 PM in St. Peter the Apostle Church. This hour of prayer consists of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, readings, hymns, silent meditation and concludes with Benediction. From October to May, the Holy Hour is then followed by a talk.

Study Series
Our popular study series, which used to be held on Tuesday evenings, will continue under a new format. These gatherings will take place in the Oratorian residence at 94 Somerset Street. The specific dates and times will be announced by postcard and on our website.

Oratorian Weekend Retreat
Our annual weekend retreat consists of conferences given by the members of the Congregation, opportunities for celebration of the Eucharist as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and plenty of quiet time. This year, we will travel to Bethany Spirituality Center in Highland Mills, NY for the weekend of October 1-3, 2010. More information

Wednesday Eucharistic Adoration
You are welcome to join us for adoration on Wednesdays in the Catholic Center Chapel (at the Catholic Center at Rutgers, 84 Somerset Street, next to St. Peter’s Church). Adoration begins following the 12:15 Mass and concludes at 4:30 PM. Please note that adoration is held only when Rutgers University is in session.

Advent Lessons and Carols
Please join us for our traditional Advent celebration of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Church in New Brunswick. Through the music and Scriptures of the season we celebrate the coming among us of the Word made flesh. Afterwards we will share in a potluck supper.

Feast of St. Philip Neri
Each May 26, we gather at 7:00 PM for Eucharist in observance of the Solemnity of our Holy Father St. Philip Neri. A time for fellowship follows the Mass.

Oratory Golf Outing
The 11th Annual Oratory Golf Outing was held on September 11, 2009 at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. The Golf Outing benefits the Seminary Education Fund, through which we provide for the formation and education of our members. Information about the 12th Annual Golf Outing will be available in summer 2010.

Theater Night Fundraiser
The 3rd Annual Oratory Theater Night fundraiser will take place on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick for their production of Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon.” The Theater Night benefits the life and ministry of the New Brunswick Oratory. More information
