On Saturday evening, March 17, 2007, the Fourth Sunday of Lent, Rev. Thomas A. Odorizzi, C.O. was officially installed as Pastor of St. Peter the Apostle Parish. Representing the Bishop of Metuchen, the Most Rev. Paul G. Bootkoski, was Rev. Msgr. Joseph Curry, the previous pastor of St. Peter’s and currently the local Episcopal Vicar. Fr. Odorizzi, who also celebrates his fifteenth anniversary of priestly ordination this year, has previously served in the parishes of St. Augustine of Canterbury, Kendall Park; St. Cecilia, Monmouth Junction; St. Bartholomew, East Brunswick; and as a chaplain at the Catholic Center at Rutgers. This is his first pastorate; he was appointed Administrator of St. Peter’s Parish in November 2005. After the Installation Mass, the St. Peter’s and Oratory communities celebrated at a reception in the Parish Hall.
